TOLL ROAD DISTRICT – Troopers with the Indiana State Police Toll Road Post kicked off the Memorial Day Weekend with a proactive Wolfpack Patrol during the overnight hours of Friday, May 22, 2026, and into Saturday morning.Â

The focus of this patrol was to have a noticeable presence to all traveling on the Indiana Toll Road from border to border as troopers looked for aggressive drivers and those driving impaired.
This patrol resulted in:
- 12 Traffic Citations (3 seatbelt citations)
- 22 Warnings
- 4 Impaired Drivers
- 11 Misdemeanor Arrests
- 1 Felony Arrest
- 1 Minor Consuming
- 9 Motorist Assists
- 6 Total Criminal Defendants
- 4 Defendants Incarcerated
The Indiana State Police will continue to have high visibility, focused patrols utilizing proactive policing in the communities we live in and on all the roadways we travel. The focus of these patrols will be seeking those that drive impaired and criminal interdiction through traffic enforcement. The goal of these patrols is to make our roadways and communities safer for everyone.
