Joseph L. Spaulding, 85, of Bedford, passed away on May 20, 2026, at Majestic Care in Bedford.
Joe was born in Greene County on July 13, 1940, to William A. and Ruth (Lamb) Spaulding. Joe married Linda L. Reistter on June 18, 1960, and after 66 years of marriage, she survives
Joe was a graduate of Shawswick High School in 1958. He retired from G Powertrain in Bedford after 3 years. He was a member of the Avoca Baptist Church and the U.A.W. Local #440
Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Spaulding of Bedford, two children, Sherry (Thomas) Pfeiffer of Corydon, and Gregory Alan Spaulding, his companion, Leann Daniels of Bedford, grandson, Reese Spaulding of Bedford, and one sister, Barbara (Ric) Mitchell of Bedford.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Gene Spaulding, and one sister, Betty Bartlett, daughter-in-law, Carla Spaulding
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1409 K Street, Bedford.
