State Bureau of Disabilities Services announces informational webinars ahead of waiver case management transition

INDIANAPOLIS — The Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) will host two virtual informational webinars for individuals and families to detail upcoming statewide changes to waiver case management services.

The sessions are designed to guide families through a restructuring of approved case management providers, which will directly impact individuals currently receiving waiver services in Indiana.

Moving forward, five selected case management companies will provide services statewide. Each organization will cover all of the following waivers:

  • Family Support Waiver
  • Community Integration & Habilitation Waiver
  • Health & Wellness Waiver
  • Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver
  • PathWays Fee for Service
  • Money Follows the Person (Pathways, Health & Wellness, or CIH)

The chosen providers authorized to continue services are:

  • Aging & In-Home Services of NE IN, Inc.
  • Indiana Professional Management Group (IPMG)
  • Inspire Case Management
  • Unity of Indiana
  • The Columbus Organization

Key Timelines and Required Actions

Whether action is required depends on an individual’s current provider assignment:

  • No Action Needed: If an individual is currently utilizing one of the five approved organizations listed above, no action is required to keep their current provider.
  • Transition Required: If an individual’s current case management organization is not on the approved list, they must select a new provider. The selection window opens June 1, 2026, and choices must be finalized no later than July 15, 2026.

Beginning August 1, 2026, only the five case management companies listed above will be legally authorized to provide waiver case management.
