CROWN POINT – The region’s top builders, project owners, and special guests will gather again this year for an evening dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements in construction safety, innovation, and project excellence.
The Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable (NWIBRT), in partnership with the Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF), will host the highly anticipated awards banquet, scheduled for 5-9 p.m. May 7 at Avalon Manor in Merrillville.
The event serves as the region’s premier gathering for the construction industry, with over 600 professionals coming together to honor over 60 award recipients. Awards are given to those who demonstrate best practices and set the standard for safety performance.
The awards presented during the evening reflect the distinct mission of each organization. CAF honors excellence in project performance, craftsmanship, and innovation within the industry, recognizing companies and teams that deliver outstanding work. NWIBRT focuses on safety achievement, recognizing organizations for their commitment to workplace safety, incident prevention and the development of strong safety cultures among their workforces.
“The annual awards banquet is an opportunity to reiterate the importance of making safety a core value,” said Rick Foor, chair of NWIBRT’s safety committee. “The commitment not only protects workers, but it strengthens the whole industry.”
