Janelle Rose (Staley) Evans, 76, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on April 26, 2026. Born August 3, 1949, in Lawrence County, Indiana, to Gilbert and Maxine (Hubbard) Staley.
Janelle devoted her life to her family and especially cherished her role as “Nana.” She enjoyed traveling, crafting, working puzzles on her back porch, and was a devoted fan of Indiana Hoosiers basketball.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Evans; her children, Kelly and Gary; her granddaughter, Charlene; her great-granddaughter, Harli Rose; her brother, Jim Staley of Oolitic, Indiana; and her sister, Nancy Stuckey of Fairway, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Timothy Staley, and her sisters, Sonia Young and Marilyn Heady.
Memorial arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date. Messages of condolence may be shared with the family.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
