SANTA CLAUS — Holiday World is preparing to open its gates for a historic 80th season, marking eight decades since it first debuted as Santa Claus Land in 1946. The park officially opens for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 9, with its sister water park, Splashin’ Safari, following close behind on Saturday, May 16.
As “The Water Coaster Capital of the World,” Splashin’ Safari will feature its full lineup of award-winning slides, wave pools, and the relaxing Bahari River.
Season Pass Savings and Perks
For families planning multiple visits this summer, the park is offering significant incentives on season passes:
- Final Days for Discounts: Guests can receive $25 off passes through May 2.
- Added Value: Season passes include perks such as in-park savings, discounted “Bring A Friend” tickets, and locker savings.

Free Passes for Young Travelers
Parents of young children can take advantage of the FREE Pre-K Season Pass.
- Eligibility: Available to children born between June 1, 2020, and November 1, 2022.
- Deadlines: Registration for this pass must be completed online by June 30.
To make the 80th season more accessible, Holiday World has introduced “Buy Now, Pay Later” options through PayPal and Venmo.
For those seeking the lowest possible rates, the park recommends purchasing tickets at least one day in advance. Additionally, using the promo code ENEWS through official park emails will automatically apply further savings to ticket purchases.
