BEDFORD — Gardening enthusiasts and community members are encouraged to clear some space in their flower beds, as the North Lawrence Career Center Agriculture Program officially kicks off its highly anticipated annual plant sale.

The sale, which showcases the hard work of local students, offers a wide variety of flora ranging from budget-friendly multi-packs to statement-making trees.

Regular hours are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on weekdays.
Organizers noted that the sale will continue until the end of the school year or until the inventory is depleted—whichever comes first. Given the popularity of the event, community members are encouraged to arrive early, as stock typically sells out quickly.
The Career Center has set competitive pricing to ensure both accessibility for the community and support for the student program:
- Variety Four-Packs: $2.00 – $4.00
- Geraniums: $4.00
- Hibiscus Trees: Up to $25.00
Whether you are an experienced gardener or a beginner looking to enhance your porch’s curb appeal, the student-grown selection is designed to suit every skill level.
Supporting Local Education
Proceeds from the sale go directly toward supporting the students within the Agriculture Program, providing them with hands-on experience in horticulture and business management.
For those who are unable to visit during the scheduled morning hours, the Career Center is offering private appointments. Interested parties can contact Logan Felts via email at feltsl@nlcs.k12.in.us to arrange a time to browse the selection.
