Brian K. Korvela, 58 of Bedford, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
He was born in Bedford on November 28, 1967, to Kenneth and Mary Lou (Glasgow) Korvela. Brian worked in maintenance and, in recent years, had been disabled.
Survivors include three children, David Baker of Bloomfield, Courtney L. (Trevor) Thompson of Beaufort, South Carolina, and Keith Bennett of Bloomfield, his mother, Mary Lou Korvela of Springville, two brothers, Mark (Pam) Korvela of Springville, and Greg (April) Korvela of Bedford, three grandchildren, Olivia Thompson, Sophia Thompson, and Emma Thompson.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Korvela, one sister, Kimberly Baker, and one brother, Kenneth J. Korvela.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Cresthaven Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family from Noon until service time at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
