ORLEANS — The 2026 Orleans Dogwood Festival has added a high-energy addition to its evening entertainment lineup, bringing a blend of seasoned expertise and fresh talent to the historic downtown stage.

The popular regional band Last Call is set to perform a free community concert on Thursday, April 23. The show will kick off at 6:00 p.m. on the festival’s Main Stage.
Last Call is known for a unique roster that pairs over 200 years of combined musical experience with a vibrant new perspective. The group’s signature sound relies on a diverse lineup of members from across Southern Indiana:
- Vocal Power: The band features a unique mother-son lead section consisting of Sue and Dave Harner.
- The Rhythm Section: Veteran bassist Del Sheets provides the backbone for the group’s classic arrangements.
- Regional Talent: The lineup is rounded out by Rick Mathias of Loogootee and Darion Oakman of Odon, a student currently attending Vincennes University.
The band’s repertoire focuses on “making classic country and rock ‘n’ roll fun for everyone.” Their performances are designed to be interactive, often drawing crowds to their feet for an evening of dancing and community celebration.
“If you hear Last Call, it is hard not to clap your hands, stomp your feet, and dance the night away!” festival organizers noted.
The concert is part of a full week of festivities celebrating the 56th year of the Dogwood Festival. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to the Main Stage area to enjoy the performance.
