Tonya Hudson wins Libertarian Party of Indiana’s nomination for U.S.House of Representatives in Indiana’s 9th District

INDIANA – Tonya Hudson has won the Libertarian Party of Indiana’s nomination for U.S. House of Representatives in Indiana’s 9th District, during the LPIN’s annual convention held March 21st.

the People’s message to the voters,” said Hudson. “Hoosiers deserve better than a rubber stamp for the executive branch – they deserve leaders who understand the struggles of everyday families and will work for limited government, lower taxes, and personal freedom.”

Hudson, a real estate broker with Suddarth & Company Real Estate and former Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana, will now advance to the November 3rd general election, focusing on engaging with voters and addressing issues impacting Southern Indiana.

After having experience running for Lt. Governor in 2024 alongside Donald Rainwater for Governor and campaigning for the U.S. House of Representatives in Indiana’s 9th District in 2020 and 2022 as the

Libertarian candidate Hudson is ready to hit the ground running. Her first scheduled town hall is April 11, 2026, at the Mitchell Community Center at 101 Tom Green Drive in Mitchell.

Hudson is passionate about working for the people and listening to their concerns, not just during her grassroots campaign but also continually being available to hear from them if honored with the trust of representing the 9th district voters.
