INDIANAPOLIS – Grab a camera or your phone and explore Indy’s Backyard this spring by participating in the White River State Park Spring Photo Contest.

City residents and visitors are encouraged to capture the changing seasons and watch as the park blooms. Photographers can find inspiration at the 52 Yoshino cherry blossom trees overlooking the White River and the Indianapolis skyline, take a stroll down the River Promenade, where a variety of trees bloom along the White River, or explore the variety of trees and flowers blooming throughout the park.
All levels of camera equipment are welcome. The contest runs from Friday, March 20, through Thursday, April 30. The winner will receive four (4) tickets to the Indianapolis Zoo, the Eiteljorg Museum, or the Indiana State Museum. Photos will be displayed digitally in the park’s Visitor Center and can be submitted at wrsp.in/springphotos.
