BEDFORD — Families in southern Indiana will have an opportunity to celebrate the Easter season with a morning of food, games, and prizes during the Oolitic VFW 1686 Auxiliary Community Easter Egg Hunt planned for early April.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, at 1686 Veterans Drive in Oolitic. Organizers say breakfast will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the egg hunt and other activities.

Children participating in the hunt will have the chance to win prizes, including four bicycles and two trikes. A bicycle drawing will also take place following the egg hunt, offering additional chances for attendees to take home prizes.
In addition to the hunt, families can enjoy activities such as a duck pond game and face painting, providing entertainment for a range of ages.
The event is open to the public and is designed to offer a festive, family-friendly way for the community to celebrate the Easter holiday. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early to take part in breakfast before the day’s activities begin.
