Purdue Extension opens registration for grass to garden virtual program

WEST LAFAYETTE – Purdue Extension is now accepting registrations for the Grass to Garden Virtual Program, a course designed to help participants start and manage community-based gardens. The program is scheduled for four consecutive Thursdays on April 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2026. Each live virtual session will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, providing a total of eight hours of education.

The curriculum is intended for nonprofit staff, community volunteers, local officials, and garden enthusiasts. Participants will receive practical tools to build successful, sustainable, and community-driven gardens with guidance from experienced Purdue educators.
