BEDFORD – Joe Haworth, officially announces his candidacy for Lawrence County Council District

I am making this announcement on National Funeral Directors and Mortician Day. A fitting occasion, as I have served the community as a licensed funeral director for the past twenty-one years. I am a proud funeral director, co-owner and co-manager of Day & Carter Mortuary, where I have dedicated my career to helping families during some of the most important and difficult moments in their lives.
For more than two decades, it has been an honor to serve and assist families i celebrating the lives of those who have lived in this great community. My work has always been about service, compassion, and commitment to the people of Lawrence County.
In addition to my professional career, I remain active in community service. I currently serve on the Green Hill Cemetery Board and am a member of both the Indiana Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
My wife, Amy and I, have raised our two children in Lawrence County and are deeply rooted in the community.
If elected, I vow to make the residents of Lawrence County my top priority. I will take on the responsibilities of this office with enthusiasm and dedication, always working to serve the people of this county. Now is the time for positive change and for moving Lawrence County forward with pride, dedication, transparency, and service.
I look forward to meeting with residents throughout the district and discussing the issues that matter most to the community.
