Local nonprofits to play vital role at 2026 Women’s Expo in Bedford on Mar. 14

BEDFORD — While shopping, games, and giveaways are always a big draw at the annual Women’s Expo, organizers say one of the event’s most meaningful features is the presence of nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting women and families throughout the community.

The 2026 Women’s Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County. Admission to the event is free. The expo is hosted by Southern Indiana’s Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK, 102.5 Lite FM, and 1340 WBIW.

Each year, the expo brings together a wide range of vendors, service providers, and community groups for a day designed to inform, connect, and empower women from across the region.

Among the many booths attendees will encounter are nonprofit organizations that work daily to improve the lives of women and families in the community. These groups provide a variety of resources and assistance, including pregnancy and family planning services, support for women and children experiencing abuse, and outreach programs that help individuals navigate difficult life situations.

The presence of these organizations gives visitors a valuable opportunity to learn about resources that may otherwise go unnoticed. Representatives will be available to answer questions, provide educational materials, and explain the services they offer.

The nonprofit presence also reflects the broader mission of the Women’s Expo, bringing people together not only for shopping and entertainment but also to highlight services that help women thrive.

In addition to nonprofit organizations, the event will feature a variety of businesses and exhibitors offering products and services tailored to women’s interests, creating a lively marketplace atmosphere throughout the four-hour event.
