Pace Community Action Agency announces 13th Annual Golf Scramble

VINCENNES — Pace Community Action Agency is moving full steam ahead with its 13th Annual Golf Scramble, a hallmark fundraising event dedicated to strengthening local communities across Southwestern Indiana.

The event is officially scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2026. Building on the success of previous years, the tournament will return to the Country Oaks Golf Course in Montgomery, Indiana.

Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate in this four-person scramble format.

  • Sign-in: Registration begins at 10:00 a.m.
  • Shotgun Start: The tournament kicks off promptly at 11:00 a.m.
  • Amenities: Participants can expect lunch (historically provided by First Vincennes Savings Bank) and various on-course activities.

In addition to the competition on the links, the event will feature a silent auction. Attendees and local supporters will have the opportunity to bid on unique items and “treasures” donated by regional businesses.

Proceeds from the 13th Annual Golf Scramble and silent auction directly benefit Pace’s Annual Fund. This fund provides critical resources for services that promote economic self-sufficiency, including:

  • Scholarships for local students.
  • Girls & Boys Camp programming.
  • Internships designed to build professional skills.

“Our mission is to provide support services that improve the community and encourage self-reliance,” the agency noted, highlighting that fundraisers like the golf scramble allow them to reinvest millions annually into the local economy.
