BEDFORD – The St. Vincent de Paul School community is gearing up for one of its biggest fundraisers of the year as organizers seek donations for the upcoming Shamrockin’ Auction.

Hosted by the St. Vincent Parent Teacher Group, the annual event raises money to support students, classrooms, and school programs at St. Vincent de Paul School. Organizers say donations are still needed to help make this year’s auction another success.
Last year’s Shamrockin’ Auction sold out, drawing approximately 250 attendees, and PTG members expect a similar turnout again this year.
“We already have some amazing donations coming in, and we are so grateful,” organizers shared in a recent Facebook post. “We are still accepting donations, and we would love your help.”
Community members and local businesses are invited to contribute a variety of items. Suggested donations include monetary contributions, themed baskets, gift cards, items or professional services, antiques or unique finds, and new items such as designer purses or electronics. Organizers noted that donated items will be featured in the event’s raffle, silent auction, or live auction.
“No item is too small, and every contribution makes a difference,” the group emphasized.
In addition to supporting the school, the event also offers local businesses an opportunity for exposure. Donated items and sponsors will be recognized and advertised during the auction in front of St. Vincent families and community members.
Funds raised through the Shamrockin’ Auction help offset costs for educational resources, student activities, and other school needs throughout the year. The event has become a highly anticipated gathering for families and supporters, combining fellowship with fundraising in a festive, Irish-themed atmosphere.
Those interested in donating or seeking more information can contact the school office at 812-279-2540, email svsptg@gmail.com, send a message through the school’s Facebook page, or stop by the school office.
Organizers expressed appreciation for the continued generosity of the community.
“Thank you for helping make this event a success,” the post read. “We are so grateful for your support.”
