BLOOMINGTON — City of Bloomington residents still have time to dispose of unwanted holiday greenery at no cost.
From now through the end of January, residents can place natural holiday items such as Christmas trees, wreaths and other greenery at the roadside on their regular trash pickup day. Bloomington Sanitation crews will collect the materials for recycling.
City officials remind residents that all items must be biodegradable, meaning no lights, wires, metal, or decorations can be attached.
