VINCENNES — A massive community celebration is coming to the hardwood this month. Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) and Vincennes University Athletics have partnered to host “Daviess County Night” on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Vincennes University PE Complex.

The event aims to bring the region together for a day of collegiate sports and community spirit as the VU Trailblazers take on John A. Logan College in a highly anticipated doubleheader.
The action-packed afternoon features two back-to-back matchups:
- 2:00 p.m. – Vincennes University Women’s Basketball vs. John A. Logan College
- 4:00 p.m. – Vincennes University Men’s Basketball vs. John A. Logan College
The invitation extends to a wide range of Daviess County community members. Eligible attendees include all DCH staff, Board members, and patients (past and present), along with residents, students, school personnel, government staff, and city employees from across Daviess County.
Organizers have confirmed there is no RSVP cap for the event, and all tickets are for general admission seating. However, attendees are encouraged to secure their spots in advance.
