BEDFORD — In observance of the federal holiday honoring the life and legacy of Civil Rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Bedford Housing Authority has announced a temporary change to its operating hours.

The Bedford Housing Authority administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.
Regular business hours and operations will resume the following day.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a National Day of Service—a “day on, not a day off.” It serves as a time for the community to reflect on the principles of racial equality and nonviolent social change. The Bedford Housing Authority encourages residents and community members to engage in local service projects or take a moment to reflect on Dr. King’s vision of a more equitable society.
While the main office is closed, emergency maintenance services will remain available for residents. Please utilize the standard after-hours emergency line for any urgent facility matters.
