INDIANA – The Indiana Talking Book and Braille Library will be hosting an adult winter reading program! Patrons, ages 18 and up, can sign up for the program by filling out and sending in a form, which can be found here. Patrons will receive a bingo card in the mail.

The bingo card will allow patrons to keep track of the books they read from Monday, Dec. 29, through Friday, Feb. 27, 2026. Book titles may be used only once per bingo card. Readers do not need to write titles on the bingo card; just mark the box.

Abby Chumin, Talking Book and Braille Library librarian
“Haven’t read the classics since high school? Pick one up this winter! Friends with a Western fan? Find something you can read together! With the various genres we have, there is something for everyone. Winter is a great time to try something different, branch out, and discover a new favorite genre,” said Abby Chumin, Talking Book and Braille Library librarian.
Those who are not sure where to start can contact the Talking Book Library staff. They have extensive knowledge of various genres and are happy to help patrons find something they will enjoy. Those with questions about the winter reading program can call Abby Chumin at 317-232-3738.
Once the season is over, patrons should mail in the completed bingo card. Everyone who submits a card will win a prize. All cards must be submitted by Monday, March 9, 2026.
The Indiana Talking Book and Braille Library would like to thank the Washington Talking Book Library for the inspiration for the program.
