Franciscan Health hosts “Cooking Matters” class in Crawfordsville for healthy, affordable eating

CRAWFORDSVILLE – Franciscan Health, in collaboration with FISH Food Pantry of Montgomery County, Indy Hunger Network, and CookingMatters.org, will be holding a class entitled “Cooking Matters” on Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Crawfordsville.

The class highlights healthy, affordable recipes, budget-friendly grocery shopping tips, proper cooking techniques, ways to save time in the kitchen, options for selective eaters, general nutrition tips, and more.

Participants will prepare and taste a new recipe made with healthy ingredients.

Families with children ages seven and older are encouraged to attend this free event together.
