Sweet Tradition: Hoover’s Candy delights with grand opening today at new location

BEDFORD — A beloved century-old tradition is thriving under new management as Hoover’s Candy, which has been crafting confections since 1908, continues to spread its sweet delights across Southern Indiana.

Now run by the dedicated mother-daughter duo, Amanda Childers and Jenny Purcell (who took over in 2021), the company is gaining popularity not only for its classic treats but also for its vibrant mobile presence.
