LAWRENCE CO. — A routine traffic stop for excessive speed on State Road 37 in Lawrence County led to the arrest of a Bloomington woman who was found to violate a standing protective order.
Lexaus Hill, 18, of Bloomington, was arrested on November 2, 2025, and charged with invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor, after a records check confirmed she was in the presence of the person listed as protected under the order.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by Indiana State Police Trooper Logan McDowell, the incident began when the trooper observed a dark-colored Dodge Caliber traveling at a high rate of speed near the intersection of State Road 37 and Ingram Road.
Trooper McDowell confirmed the vehicle’s speed at 89 miles per hour in a posted 60 mph zone. The trooper initiated a traffic stop near the State Road 37 and Washboard Road intersection.
The driver was identified as Brayten Enlow. Hill was a passenger in the vehicle, along with a baby and another passenger in the back seat.
While processing the stop, a records search of the vehicle’s occupants revealed that the driver, Enlow, was the protected person on a current and non-expiring protection order issued against Hill. The trooper confirmed the existence and validity of the order through the Indiana State Police Bloomington Post Dispatch.
Trooper McDowell informed Hill that she violated the protection order. Hill acknowledged that Enlow was her boyfriend and admitted they had a domestic dispute in Greene County in August, but claimed she did not know why a protection order had been issued.
After contacting the child’s legal guardian, who arrived on the scene to take custody of the infant, Hill was placed in handcuffs. She was subsequently transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
The driver, Brayten Enlow, was issued a citation for speeding.
