Brent Maudlin continues community-focused service

BEDFORD — The Brent Maudlin State Farm Insurance Agency provides insurance services to individuals, families and businesses throughout Bedford, Mitchell, Springville, Oolitic and surrounding communities. Licensed in Indiana, the agency offers coverage options for autos, homes, renters, life and small business needs, working with customers to build plans that fit a range of budgets.

The agency is led by Bedford native Brent Maudlin, who has worked in the insurance industry since 2008. Maudlin opened his State Farm office with the goal of helping families protect their income and assets through clear, accessible coverage guidance. The agency’s team has more than 56 years of combined industry experience.

Maudlin is active in community service throughout Lawrence County. His involvement includes serving on the board of the Lawrence County Community Foundation, participating in the Bedford Lions Club, and supporting the Bedford Chamber of Commerce for more than 17 years.

The office is currently helping collect food donations for Bertha’s Mission’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner by coordinating food drives at four local elementary schools. The class at each school that donates the most items will receive an ice cream party sponsored by the office.

Maudlin’s community involvement also includes assisting the Bedford Lions Club’s vision screening program for elementary and preschool students, supporting the construction of accessibility ramps through the club’s ramp crew, contributing to the Bedford Parks Department’s plastic lid recycling initiative, and participating in fire prevention outreach alongside the Bedford Fire Department.

The Brent Maudlin State Farm Agency continues to serve customers while supporting projects that benefit residents across Lawrence County. You can visit their website or follow their Facebook page!
