SOUTH-CENTRAL — Residents in an eight-county south-central Indiana district will have access to free legal advice next week. River Valley Legal Aid and Pro Bono Indiana have scheduled a free Legal Phone Clinic for low-income residents on Tuesday, November 4.

The clinic is designed to provide free legal consultations on general civil matters, thanks to the assistance of local volunteer attorneys. Criminal law questions will not be addressed during the clinic.
The free legal phone clinic is available to residents of the following counties:
- Bartholomew
- Johnson
- Jackson
- Jennings
- Brown
- Decatur
- Rush
- Shelby
Registration is mandatory and will be conducted via phone only on the day of the event:
- Registration Time: Tuesday, November 4, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (local time)

A River Valley Legal Aid volunteer attorney will return calls to registered individuals between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Residents must be available during this window to receive their brief phone consultation.
