Daviess Community Hospital to host Third Annual Festival of Trees Gala

WASHINGTON — Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) is gearing up for its most festive fundraiser of the year, announcing the date for its third annual Festival of Trees gala.

The holiday event, which features beautifully decorated trees and wreaths up for auction, will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, located at 500 NE 6th St. in Washington.

All proceeds from the event will benefit DCH’s Perinatal Pathways Program, which provides essential support and resources for mothers, newborns, and families in the community.

The evening will begin when doors open at 6 p.m. Guests can enjoy viewing the unique holiday decorations before dinner is served at 7 p.m. The main event, a live auction of the fully decorated trees and wreaths, is scheduled to start around 8 p.m. The event will also feature a silent auction throughout the evening.

Following the auction, attendees can enjoy a dessert bar and music from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., along with a cash bar and opportunities for photos with Santa.

Tickets for the Festival of Trees are currently on sale and must be purchased by 4 p.m. on Friday, November 14.

Donors wishing to contribute a decorated tree or wreath to the auction can drop off their items on Friday, November 21, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Winning auction items may be taken home immediately following the event or picked up the following day, Sunday, November 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free delivery is available for all winning items within Daviess County.
