MITCHELL—Residents along Southridge Drive can officially return to regular water consumption, as the boil order that was put into effect on October 6th has been lifted.
The precautionary measure requiring residents to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth is no longer necessary. Local utility officials confirmed today that follow-up testing of the water supply found it safe to consume.
Officials thanked the community for their patience and cooperation while the necessary testing was completed.
