BLOOMINGTON – The Frank Southern Ice Arena is trading in its skates for screams as it prepares to transform into a terrifying Halloween haven on October 18th.

The annual event completely reimagines the municipal skating rink for one night, transforming the venue’s typically mundane locker rooms into a twisting maze full of horrors. Attendees can expect a terrifying gauntlet featuring classic monsters, such as vampires and werewolves, along with a host of other frights.
Volunteers Needed for Scaring Duty
Organizers are actively recruiting volunteers to staff the scare maze. This is a unique opportunity for anyone who has “ever wanted to dress up in costume and scare the living daylights out of someone.”
Crucially, no skating skills are required to participate as a volunteer. The organizers will provide all necessary costumes.
The Frank Southern Ice Arena invites the public to join this annual tradition, whether as thrill-seeking patrons or as part of the scare crew. Interested individuals can register immediately using the provided button to sign up as a volunteer and help bring the Halloween haunt to life.
