BEDFORD – The Bedford Police Department is inviting qualified men and women to join the city’s police force and “make a lasting difference” in the community.
With a starting salary of $66,258.14 and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, the department is seeking applicants who are ready to serve and protect while building a meaningful career in law enforcement.
Officers with the Bedford Police Department receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid vacation, holidays, and sick time. Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age, possess at least a GED or high school diploma, and successfully complete an aptitude test, physical agility test, psychological evaluation, and criminal background investigation.
