Orange County Stakeholder meeting to combat substance use disorder Oct. 23

PAOLI — Community leaders, service providers, and residents are invited to a regional stakeholder meeting on Thursday, Oct. 23, to discuss barriers and needs faced by people with substance use disorder.

The event, organized by the Safe Haven Recovery Engagement Center in partnership with Reform Indiana, will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Orange County Community Center.

Maranda Williams of Reform Indiana is scheduled as the guest speaker. Lunch will be provided by Lost River Market & Deli at no cost to attendees.

Organizers say the meeting is free to attend but limited to 75 participants. Those interested in attending can register by scanning the QR code included on the event flyer above.

The gathering is part of the “Communities Talk” initiative, designed to bring stakeholders together to identify challenges and develop strategies that strengthen support systems for individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.
