MARTIN CO. – Martin County Solid Waste will host its Annual Fall Clean-Up on Friday, October 10th, and Saturday, October 11th.
The event will be held at the Loogootee location only, with special pricing applying only to this site on those two days. The Shoals location will be open, and standard rates will apply.
The clean-up hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Clean-Up Pricing
The following flat fees will apply for disposal at the Loogootee location:
- Small Truck: $20
- Full-Size Truck: $30
- Trailers (any size): $40
- Truck with Trailer (both loaded): $70
The listed prices do not include hazardous waste disposal fees. Hazardous items, which include TVs, computers, paint, light bulbs, fluorescent lights, tires, refrigerators, and freezers, will incur separate charges.
Aluminum Can Drive
Martin County Solid Waste will also hold an aluminum can drive on both days of the clean-up. Aluminum cans will be purchased for $0.25 per pound, and residents are asked to bring cans in bags or containers for weighing.
