Hoosier Uplands donates over $11,000 for Sheriff’s Office AEDs

LAWRENCE CO. – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office has announced a donation of $11,020 from Hoosier Uplands to purchase new batteries and pads for all of its officers’ Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs).

Each patrol car is equipped with an AED, allowing officers to provide immediate, life-saving care during cardiac emergencies. As officers are often the first responders to a scene, these devices ensure they can deliver prompt medical assistance.

“The support that Hoosier Uplands provides to the citizens of our community is second to none,” said Sheriff Greg Day. “I do not doubt that this generous donation will save lives!”
