WASHINGTON – Perdue Farms is inviting the community to its food drive this Saturday, September 27, in support of the local Feed My Sheep program. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Commons, located at 301 East Main Street.
The food drive is part of Perdue’s efforts for Hunger Action Month, in partnership with Feeding America.
Organizers will be accepting donations of unexpired, non-perishable food items. To thank participants, Perdue Farms will be serving free walking tacos at the event.
Community members are encouraged to contribute and help support neighbors in need.
