Moms Demand Action to host new member meeting in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington chapter of Moms Demand Action is holding an information and new member meeting on Monday, September 29, to recruit volunteers and discuss strategies to reduce gun violence in the community.

The meeting will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 1B of the Monroe County Public Library at 303 East Kirkwood Avenue.

Moms Demand Action is a non-partisan, grassroots organization that advocates for stronger gun laws and promotes a culture of gun safety. The group is the grassroots arm of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the U.S.

The meeting is open to the public for anyone interested in learning about the organization and how they can get involved in community efforts to combat gun violence.
