Lawrence County 4-H Council to host Inaugural “Rodeo Nights” Gala; ticket deadline Sept. 24

BEDFORD —The Lawrence County 4-H Council is starting a new tradition this fall with its first “Emeralds & Clovers Gala,” a fundraising event set for Saturday, October 4, at the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds Expo Hall.

This year’s gala, themed “Rodeo Nights,” will feature a western-inspired evening with live music from the 100 Proof Band, a catered dinner by Holt’s Café, and a silent auction. Guests can also enjoy a cash bar and are encouraged to dress in western attire, such as boots, jeans, and rodeo-inspired outfits.

Doors for the event open at 6:00 p.m., and the night will conclude at 11:00 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance by September 24. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses, organizations, and individuals.

All proceeds from the gala will go toward supporting 4-H youth programs, including scholarships, leadership development, educational trips, and awards. Council members hope the gala will become an annual signature fundraiser that both celebrates the community and invests in the future of local 4-H youth.
