MITCHELL – The Bluejackets Wrestling Club will be hosting a loaded potato fundraiser during the Persimmon Festival on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and aims to raise funds for the club.
Founded in March 2025, the club offers students and young athletes the opportunity to develop confidence, physical fitness, and sportsmanship through the traditional sport of wrestling.
“We’ve already seen a growing interest, and the response from participants and families has been incredibly positive,” said Reece Freeman, Mitchell High School Boys Head Wrestling Coach.
For $10 per meal, attendees can enjoy a pulled pork-loaded baked potato, chips, and their choice of soda or water. Both dine-in and take-out options will be available.
