Paoli Library to host Family Dinner Project Sept. 25

PAOLI — Families are invited to gather around the table at the Paoli Public Library for the Family Dinner Project, a free program hosted by Purdue Extension of Orange County on Thursday, Sept. 25.

The event runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the library, located at 100 W. Water St. Guests will enjoy a healthy crockpot meal while learning about the benefits of family dinners and tips for using a slow cooker.

Organizers say the program highlights how sharing a meal can nourish the spirit, boost brainpower, and support the overall health of family members. The evening will also feature ideas for strengthening communication and connection around the dinner table.

Families of all sizes are welcome, but space is limited. There is no cost to attend, and participants are asked to RSVP by calling 812-723-7107 or emailing vportill@purdue.edu.

Purdue Extension encourages community members to spread the word and bring neighbors or loved ones for what they describe as “an evening to remember — good food, great company, and plenty of warm conversation.”
