BEDFORD — Time is running out to secure a seat at one of the most anticipated events of the year. The Lawrence County Community Foundation will host its annual fundraising Fall Gathering on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, inside the newly renovated Lakeview Room at Spring Mill State Park in Mitchell, and tickets are expected to go fast.

This year’s program features keynote remarks from former Indiana Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman, followed by live entertainment from Becky Sprinkle and Creekside Band. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the park’s Pioneer Village, Grissom Memorial, and scenic trails before the evening begins.
Space is limited, and the dinner sells out quickly.

The Community Foundation Partnership plays a critical role in Lawrence and Martin counties, providing grants, scholarships, and long-term endowment development. Just last cycle, the foundation awarded more than $86,000 to support education, wellness, and infrastructure improvements.
The annual dinner is the organization’s largest fundraising event of the year, and every ticket and sponsorship directly fuels local projects — from new internet hotspots in schools to safer playgrounds and better streets in small towns.
Organizers encourage anyone interested to act quickly — once tables are filled, they’re gone.
