BEDFORD — The countdown is on! Runners and walkers are gearing up for the return of the Limestone Capital Half Marathon, 5K, and one-mile walk/run on Saturday, Oct. 4, and time is running out to lock in race perks.
Don’t delay – Register today! Participants must register by Saturday, Sept. 14 at 11:59 p.m. to guarantee their official race T-shirt in the correct size. Another key deadline is Saturday, Sept. 28 at 11:59 p.m. — the cut-off to receive a personalized runner bib with your name printed on it.
Registration remains open through Oct. 3, and day-of registration will be available, but those who miss the deadlines risk missing out on the custom gear that makes race day extra special.

The event invites runners of all ages to take part in the School Challenge, where every registration — including race-day sign-ups — adds points to local school totals.
Race weekend kicks off on Friday, Oct. 3, with the Expo and Packet Pick-Up from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Downtown Depot. On Saturday, awards for the 5K will be presented around 9:10 a.m., with half-marathon awards soon after.
