WASHINGTON — A lucky Powerball player in Washington, Indiana, is holding a winning ticket worth $50,000.
According to the Hoosier Lottery, the ticket was purchased at Huck’s located on Gateway Drive and matched four of the five main numbers and the Powerball in Wednesday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers were 9, 12, 22, 41, 61, with the Powerball being 25.
Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of their ticket, keep it in a safe place, and seek financial advice.
For instructions on how to claim the prize, the winner should call Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886. Players can also check their tickets using the Hoosier Lottery app.
