Bloomington Farmers’ Market features live music, BPD chief, and timeless style

BLOOMINGTON — This Saturday, the Bloomington Farmers’ Market will be a hub of community engagement, live music, and classic summer style. Shoppers can enjoy a variety of offerings, from the historic charm of straw hats to a special appearance by the city’s police chief.

Straw hats have been around forever. By the 19th century, they weren’t just for keeping cool in the sun; they became the accessory for men of all stripes (and suspenders). Fast forward to today, and you’ll still spot them at the Market. So if you’re looking for shade and swagger, the straw hat has you covered.
