United Way to host 3rd Annual Blue Jean Ball Benefit Concert

BLOOMINGTON — The United Way of South Central Indiana is inviting the community to its 3rd Annual Blue Jean Ball Benefit Concert, a fundraiser aimed at supporting local programs and bringing people together.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Whippoorwill Hill, a historic barn located at 1780 E Rayletown Road.

The evening will feature live country music from singer-songwriter Jennifer Mlott, known for her high-energy performances. Attendees can also enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner provided by Great White Smoke BBQ, with dessert from Bruster’s Ice Cream. Upland Brewing Co. will offer a selection of beer and wine at a cash bar.

In addition to the entertainment and food, the event will include a silent auction and a raffle. The silent auction and cash bar will open at 5 p.m., with dinner served at 5:30 p.m. Jennifer Mlott’s performance is scheduled from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are $55 per person and include dinner, dessert, and the concert. Dinner options include pulled pork, pulled chicken, or a black bean burger. Tickets must be purchased in advance by Thursday, August 28, as no tickets will be sold at the door.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of South Central Indiana, helping to fund its mission of “connecting people in our region to possibility.”
