The Parent Project course aims to help with destructive adolescent behavior

BEDFORD — The Parent Project, a 10-week course designed to help parents with destructive adolescent behavior, is being offered at the StoneGate Arts and Education Center.

The course, which meets every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., will begin on August 26, 2025, with the last session on October 28, 2025.

The course highlights include:

  • Learning how to “never argue with your child again”.
  • Preventing or intervening in alcohol and drug use.
  • Improving school attendance and performance.
  • Exploring “concrete solutions for media issues”.

The cost for the 10-week class is $30.00. The first class is free for those who are unsure if the course is a good fit. Registration is required and can be done by contacting Katie Messmann at 812-275-5754. The StoneGate Arts and Education Center is located at 931 15th St. in Bedford.
