BLOOMINGTON — This Saturday marks the final day of National Farmers’ Market Week, and the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market is inviting the public to celebrate.
The event will feature a wide array of locally sourced produce, meats, cheeses, and flowers, along with handcrafted items from local food and beverage artisans.

Among the seasonal highlights at the market are more than 20 varieties of ripe, flavorful melons, from watermelons to various muskmelons, including cantaloupes and honeydews.
Additionally, attendees can meet Lori Bolin, the proprietor of Crossroads Kombucha, and learn about the artisanal, fermented tea-based drink she hand-crafts in Franklin, Indiana.

Music at the Market
Market-goers will be treated to live music from the Bloomington-based band Coda Canyon, which blends Yacht Rock and Prog Rock into what they call “Yacht Prog.” The band will perform two sets on the BCFM Circular Stage at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Mayor’s Team at the Table
The market will also host the Mayor’s Team at the Table program, allowing residents to interact with city officials. This week, City of Bloomington Controller Jessica McClellan and Director of Parks and Recreation Tim Street will be greeting the public from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
