BLOOMINGTON– The Monroe County Democrats’ Club and Stonewall Democrats SCI are co-sponsoring a Summer Picnic Pitch-In on Sunday, August 17th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Sycamore Shelter in Lower Cascades Park, Bloomington.
Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with food, games, music, and engaging speakers. The picnic is also promoted as an opportunity for “great conversation” and gathering with “great Democrats.”
The event is designed as a pitch-in style picnic. While guests are encouraged to bring drinks or a side dish if they can, it is emphasized that those unable to contribute should “Come anyway” as there will be plenty of food and beverages available for everyone.
This summer gathering aims to foster community and discussion among members and supporters of both organizations.
The event is paid for by The Monroe County Democrats’ Club and Stonewall Democrats of South Central Indiana.
