Orange County Community Foundation grants $7,000 for 911 dispatch system upgrade

PAOLI — On Monday, the Orange County Community Foundation presented a check for $7,000 to Orange County 911 Dispatch. The funds, provided through the Foundation’s 2025 Unrestricted Grant Cycle, will support the update of the county-wide P25 communication system.

This upgrade is crucial for ensuring clear and reliable communication between emergency responders, including officers, firefighters, and EMTs, operating in rural areas and the central dispatch office. The enhancement aims to strengthen safety and response efforts across Orange County.

“We’re proud to invest in the tools that keep our first responders connected and our community protected,” a representative from the Orange County Community Foundation stated.
