Participate in an arts and culture planning process near you

INDIANA – The 15 regions of the Indiana READI program are developing comprehensive arts and culture plans for each area of the state through funding provided by the Lilly Endowment, Inc. Over the next few months, there will be opportunities to participate in focus groups, community meetings, and surveys, all designed to strengthen arts and culture across Indiana.

As details on participation come online for each region, we’ll keep you updated. All those interested in advancing arts and culture in their community are encouraged to participate. The following regions have participation opportunities currently open:

Accelerate Rural Indiana – serving Batesville, Decatur, Greensburg, Rush, Rushville, Shelby, and Shelbyville counties
RSVP and join Accelerate Rural Indiana’s arts and culture planning public input sessions.

Central Indiana Regional Development Authority – serving Madison, Hancock, Johnson, Morgan, Putnam, Hamilton, Marion, Boone, and Hendricks counties
Complete the survey on the creative economy in Central Indiana.

Northwest Indiana Forum – serving Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Newton, Jasper, Pulaski, and Starke counties

North Central Indiana Regional Planning Council (NCIRPC) – serving Cass, Clinton, Fulton, Howard, Miami, and Tipton counties
The Draft North Central Indiana Strategic Arts Plan is available for public review. This has been a regional effort to create a plan that will help enhance the quality of place in North Central Indiana through strategic investments in the arts and culture sectors. East Central Indiana Regional Partnership (ECIRP) – serving Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Grant, Henry, Jay, Randolph, and Wayne counties

South Bend-Elkhart Regional Partnership – serving Elkhart, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties
