BEDFORD – The Bedford Chamber is now accepting nominations from the public for its prestigious 2025 Chamber Awards, which will be presented at the 109th Annual Dinner on Thursday, August 14th, at the 4-H Fairgrounds Expo Hall.
The Chamber encourages community members to recognize deserving businesses and individuals across four categories:
2025 Business Beautification Award
This award honors a business that has significantly improved its physical appearance. Nominations should include the business name, a description of the work completed, and images of the improvements if available. Last year’s recipient was the Indiana Center for Recovery.
2025 Community Service Award
This award celebrates an individual who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and gone above and beyond in their service to the community. Nominations, whether submitted via the online form or as a letter, should detail the nominee’s volunteer work and accomplishments, along with their contact information. Past recipients include Marla Jones, George McNichols, Brad Dykes, Susan Miller, Bill Morris, and Shawna Girgis.
2025 Small Business of the Year
This award recognizes a business with fewer than 100 employees that has recently achieved significant growth or undergone a notable change, or has played a crucial role in community development. Harvest Health & Rehab was the recipient of this award last year.
2025 Non-Profit of the Year
This award aims to recognize a local non-profit organization that has made significant progress in the past year toward its mission, thereby enriching lives in Lawrence County. Last year, the Lawrence County Museum of History received this distinction.
All nominations for these four awards must be submitted by July 18th. You can submit your nomination through the online application. Alternatively, you can request a printable application by contacting Sally at member@bedfordchamber.com.
