SPRINGVILLE – Lawrence County is gearing up to host ABATE of Indiana’s 45th Annual Boogie®, a four-day celebration of motorcycles, music, and community set to take place from July 17 to July 20, 2025, at the Lawrence County Recreational Park, located at 99 Moore Lane in Springville.

This event is widely anticipated as the biker event of the year, featuring thrilling bike shows and a full lineup of live music.

Lawrence County Emergency Management Director Valerie Luchauer confirmed to the commissioners on Tuesday morning that the county is ready to address any potential issues that may arise during the event.
“We have a plan in place and are ready,” Luchauer stated.
However, a significant concern for Luchauer is the impending heat wave expected to hit Lawrence County next week.
“We can expect the heat index to hit 105 to 106, which is concerning,” she added, emphasizing the need for residents to take precautions against the extreme temperatures.
Looking back, Luchauer also reflected positively on the recently concluded Lawrence County Fair.
“We had no injuries or mishaps,” she reported, noting that while the sheriff’s department addressed a few minor issues that arose, the fair was essentially a success.
